Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ProfileIQ (profileiq.co.in), operated from India. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
ProfileIQ analyzes your resume against a job description using AI, provides a compatibility score and keyword gap analysis, and (for Pro subscribers) generates an AI-rewritten version of your resume optimized for that job description.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use ProfileIQ.
3. Free and Pro plans
Free plan: includes a limited number of resume scans per month, as shown in the app.
Pro plan: ₹199/month, billed as a recurring subscription via Razorpay, unlocking unlimited scans, AI-powered resume rewriting, and PDF/DOCX downloads. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or infringes someone else's rights
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service
- Use the service to generate misleading credentials or misrepresent your qualifications to a prospective employer
- Share your account with others or resell access to the service
5. AI-generated content
Resume scores, keyword analysis, and rewritten content are generated by AI (via Anthropic's Claude API) and are provided as guidance, not a guarantee of any outcome such as passing an employer's applicant tracking system or securing an interview. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before using it, including ensuring it doesn't misrepresent your actual skills or experience.
6. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the resume content you upload. We do not claim ownership of your resume or the rewritten output generated for you. ProfileIQ's branding, design, and underlying software remain our property.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep ProfileIQ available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to notify Pro subscribers of material changes affecting paid functionality.
8. Limitation of liability
ProfileIQ is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including outcomes related to job applications. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using ProfileIQ and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
